Introducing DFW-area Chiropractor, Dr. Michelle D. Martz

DFW-area chiropractor, Dr. Michelle D. Martz

Hello!  I am a long time resident of Lewisville, Texas, graduating from Lewisville High School in 1983.  After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1987, I attended Parker College of Chiropractic where I earned another Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy, as well as my Doctor of Chiropractic.  After practicing several years in Dallas, I decided to establish a natural healing & wellness center in my hometown.

I promote on-going efforts to provide the most comprehensive services to my patients, I am certified as a Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition as well as a Naturopathic Practitioner and  a certified Backsafe Injury Prevention Consultant.  I am an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association Council on Nutrition, the Texas Chiropractic Association.  I also belong to the American Association of Acupuncture and Bio-Energetic Medicine, the Parker Chiropractic Resource Foundation, the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce and I am involved with several charitable organizations.  I find it enjoyable to speak to groups on wellness related topics.

My husband Keith is an outdoor trails/environmental instructor at Briarhill Middle School.  We have five children, Zane, Mikenna, Garrett, Jeffrey and Mallori, born November 2008; which keep us very busy with school and extracurricular activities. We have made our home in Highland Village.

At Trinity Wellness Center, my staff and I are dedicated to relieving patients of their pain and dysfunction, determining the source of the problem and teaching patients how to increase longevity and quality of life.  We treat everyone, with or without pain or illness.  Our patients receive the benefits of the newest equipment and techniques, as well as our dedication to their total wellness by promoting natural healing of the mind, body and spirit.  It is our goal to support as many people as possible in their quest for health and educate them about chiropractic and wellness lifestyles so they may, in turn, educate others.

Dr. Michelle Asks some important questions of interest to Dallas residents - Chiropractor Dallas Dr. Michelle Asks...

What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
